Hey there, I’m Erin. I’m a 24 yr. old that is trying to balance everything – family, fun,food and work! I’m trying to figure out what works for me. I want to express myself but, also be held accountable on my weight loss journey and I think this blogging is the perfect solution.
I was always pretty fit through elementary and high school but then in college I ballooned. Not enough exercise and LOTS and LOTS of tater tots and beer. Right after I graduated college I had a physical and the number on the scale terrified me. It was that moment every body talks about. It was when I realized that the life I was leading was not healthy or sustainable–drinking beer, eating processed foods, and not exercising was not working for me. I struggled to walk long distances, couldn’t stop sweating, and my clothes didn’t fit – who was this person?
I decided that something needed to change.
I enrolled in the Weight Watchers Points Plus Program started running 2-3 times a week and hiking whenever possible. I’ve lost about 25 lbs. and I’m looking to lose about 30 more. I’m so happy that I decided to start a blog and I cannot wait to start LOSING IT!
Below are some pictures from my senior year of college when I was at my heaviest. I remember seeing these pictures on Facebook and cringing. It wasn’t until a few months and pounds later that I decided to change my ways.
Below are some pictures from about a year later where I weigh about 25lbs less. Even after losing some weight I still struggle with eating properly and staying active. However, I do feel GREAT most days and most of all, I’m enjoying the journey!
